Mike Mosedale
London Cartoonists
Located just south of London, Mike Mosedale is a well established cartoonist and illustrator with a wealth of experience. Much of his time is spent working for newspapers, Advertising Agencies, Public Relations groups and publishing houses.
Mike studied Graphic Design at Art College in the late 70s and early 80s specialising in illustration. After graduating he set up a graphic studio with a fellow university graduate working for several years producing visuals, designs and finished artwork for a variety of clientele.
Over the years Mike was increasingly called upon to produce illustrations and cartoons. By the 1990s this became a full time occupation working for various local and national companies. His newspaper cartoons have appeared in the Times, Sunday Times, The European, The Economist, The Sporting Life, The Evening Standard, The Telegraph, The Independent and The Times Educational Supplement. His cartoon strips have also run in a wide variety of trade magazines. He has also illustrated numerous books and children’s sections of weekend papers, produced greetings cards, both seasonal and general for some of the major manufacturers and been commissioned to produce caricatures for the well known and now so well known, usually as company presentations for retirement, promotion or landmark birthdays.
Mikes cartoons range from spot cartoons, editorial cartoons, topical cartoons, teaching or educational cartoons, office cartoons, business cartoons, computer cartoons, medical cartoons and law cartoons. He also specialises in quick turnaround cartoons, usually being able to complete them in less than 2 hours!
